On Saturday 6th March took place an online meeting for Redemptorists and RYVM youth leaders from Europe. The gathering was hosted by the Youth Ministry Co-ordinators of the Dublin Province.
The aim of the meeting was preparing for an European Youth Meeting in Toruń 2022. We discussed the programme, events and also planned next meetings for leaders.
It was a very engaging experience. Every participant had a possibility to hear out the conference and to join international prayer and discussion in smaller language groups (English, Spanish, Italian). There was time for reflection and consideration what hope is in time of crisis and also what actions had been initiated since the outbreak of the pandemic. Our keynote speaker Fr. Gerry O’Connor CSsR gave us some food for thought and encouragement in our ministry. Also the word of Fr. Michael Brehl CSsR – The Superior General – brought us reassurance and enriched us.
